The appropriate end to the season – very enjoyable. Tres bien A great romp of a film
Fantastic – best film so far. That was a film!
Most enjoyable – a good feel-good factor to finish the year. That was fun.
F***ing good! A great film for people who like swearing. That was f***ing good.
Too much F word – enjoyed the fight at the end.
More a TV film than a cinema film. Nevertheless, great acting, very amusing and a good evening.
Great fun (although it was difficult to understand Cantona)
Fab. I really enjoyed it. Great acting.
Excellent film to finish the year with. It had everything. Pity about Eric Cantona’s diction!!
An everlasting spliff……I wish. Only wish mob rule worked as well.
A nice little fairy tale! I always wanted to know what a Postmen’s strike would be like!!
Great fun but with some serious underlying themes. Great dénouement.
Quite brilliant although I did not think so to begin with.
A film of two halves. What a way to end the season – thanks!
I loved the film even though I’m not a football fan. Top League!
Brilliant! And I don’t follow football!
Brilliant……should have had extra time.
Surprising! A perfect end of season fodder – funny and poignant and Loach to a T.
Spoiled a good season.
Good in every respect. The Best. Thank you.
Thank you for you support this season. We hope to see you again for some more outstanding film in September.

Very Poor: 1
Overal Rating: 71%
Froth, some witty dialogue but why didn’t they buy the bottle? And what was the point of it all or was it just Woody’s wish list?
Somewhat tedious. Great fun. Holiday romances never last. Engrossing.
Priceless! Una pelicula muy buena! (Subtitle: A very good film)
Not profound but great fun. Tedious. Great fun.
I spent the time working out which of the pretentious, boring characters I would shoot first. Miss Johansson could have done with some acting lessons from Ms Cruz. Then I'd shoot her.
An easy watch but not a great film – except for Cruz of course.
Not enough of the Cruz missile.
A good film?? Who cares – Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz!
This film has convinced me that I was born 40 years too soon!
Doesn’t Diane Keaton age well?!!!
Wonderful travelogue of Barcelona but I was not too impressed with the film.
Much ado about nothing! But beautiful to look at. Off to Barcelona!
Great bad commentary! Took me back to student days!
Think I will plan a trip to Barcelona! Quite amusing but I wouldn’t want to see the film again.
After a lousy day it was fun!
When can I return to this great city?
I felt sorry for the actors trying to deal with a rubbish production.
Not too sure about it. Not even funny. Quite a good story but not believable.
Thank God for the architecture.
It explored all the human emotions from A to B. Fell Asleep!
Rather predictable Woody Allen. Pity about the silly voice over. Woody Allen’s wish fulfilment?
The commentary felt like Woody Allen lecturing at me. I didn’t like the format.
Woody Allen is not all he’s cracked up to be: a shallow, pretentious film.
Not enough of Barcelona and Gaudi but too much Woody Allen cross conversation.
Stunning scenery but typical Woody Allen fantasy. Very Woody Allen.
When you’re admiring the wardrobe more than the film………Fun though!
Excellent direction. The sex scenes were not too graphic for a change.
Vintage Allen – just bananas.
Is this Woody Allen making fun of himself?

A charming story well-acted. Beautiful Charming, delightful film
A perfect tale. Very moving – sensitively produced. A treasure.
Haunting and charming in equal measure. Good: thought provoking. That was lovely.
A beautiful sensitive film. More like that please. Truly wonderful.
Very enjoyable. Magnificent.
A little too realistic. I’ve seen wurst! Very good and enchanting story.
Sehr schön, nicht whar? Gentle. Could have done without the music at the end.
Well acted, peculiar and not as profound as it obviously thought it was.
A tragedy ‘with funny bits’ – not a comedy.
Very clever filming – comical in parts and certainly memorable. Funny, sad and very original.
So similar to our very own Dorset cottage holidays! Great situational comedy.
Rather a different film from the usual ‘bloody’ films. Very sweet and beautifully directed.
Very touching. If that was a feral woman we need more of them!
An amazing and perfect film – a story well told.
What I came to film club for. Unusual, touching and with gentle humour – excellent.
Unusual, rather sweet and funny but sad for the pigs!
Very touching. I think it will be a while before I can eat pork again.
You can’t beat a good German sausage!
An original love story with all the harshness of ordinary life.
Best German film shown at BFFS. A wonderful bitter-sweet story, beautifully filmed and acted.
Who said the Germans have no sense of humour! Delightful.
I did enjoy that and kept the tears until she looked at us at the last.
Gentle Emma with the knife. I thought she would cut out his pancreas.
BAFTAs for Emma, Babe and the cockerel. Best so far.
A real mixture of emotions!
Clearly it’s better to have loved and lost.
The best you have ever booked. Thank you.
The next film is Vicky Christina Barcelona on March 18th. This is the film which was 'snowed off' in early January.
